Aqua Natal Yoga

During pregnancy, women are limited within their range of motion due to adjusted posture, strain and stress on joints and ligaments. Aqua Natal Yoga is an ideal form of exercise to alleviate these stresses on the pregnant body and aid in fluid movement, relaxation and controlled breathing.

The buoyancy provided by water removes stress on the joints and provides support for the muscles. Relaxation is the main focal point in yoga other than building flexibility and stability. Water expands the benefits of yoga relaxation.

The added benefits from the sensation of weightlessness provided by the water and the use of the standard yoga poses aids in relaxation and provides useful techniques designed for pregnant women. Aqua Natal Yoga can be practiced from 14 weeks until the birth of your baby.

Communication with other pregnant mothers provides a real, bonding experience with the added advice on birthing tips from your qualified instructor. All of this adds to a relaxing and supportive environment, making it a really pleasant and empowering experience. Aqua Natal Yoga is one of the most beneficial and least stressful methods of exercise while you are pregnant.

FEES 

Fees for Aqua Natal Yoga (one class per week, 45 minutes per class):

  • 4-week course – €80
  • 5-week course – €100
  • 6-week course – €120
  • 7-week course – €140
  • 8-week course – €160
  • 9-week course – €180
  • 10-week course – €200

Note: Classes are now running in Limerick in Daughters Of Charity on Sunday mornings at 10 am. These classes are 45min in duration. The current term will run until Feb 9th

The length of the entire course of lessons may vary depending on midterm breaks, Bank Holidays, etc. Notice will be given in advance.

Please note that pay-as-you-go classes are offered only for customers who have attended a minimum of one course and who wish to continue until baby arrives. This applies only where the course continues beyond Mummies due date.
